02 Montero XLS AWD will not go in to 4H or 4L
Hello everybody, just came across these forums online. I just bought a 02 Montero Sport XLS AWD ... the 4X4 system worked great but all of a sudden the 4x4 lever will not come out of AWD and will move between 4H and AWD but will not engage in to 4H or 4L. 4L or 4H indicators are not illuminating on the dash cluster.
Miles are 140K... i would any help i can get. All fluids are in good level. The transmission runs great.
