I have a 98 montero sport that recently broke the crankshaft pully bolt and died. ive since replaced the bolt and the crankshaft position sensor and the car will still not start. can anyone help or at least give some suggestions?

Was the vehicle in motion when it happen?
Did you check your timing when you install the new parts? |
no it wasnt in motion when it broke. it had died in the road and i was trying to get it off the road when it broke the bolt. after the bolt broke it did act like the timing had jumped or something the few seconds it ran after the break but while i had the engine apart, it looked as if the belt was in good shape. when ive tried starting it, it seems as if it would almost want to start on the first revolution but then it just spins over.
