Default Fuel consumption reading on computer isn't updating?

Weird thing started happening on my '03 Montero LTD - the fuel consumption reading on the computer is not refreshing after I fill up...anybody experience this? It started happening yesterday, and I figured that after I shut the car off, the computer would refresh accordingly but it didn't. The fuel gauge is currently reading over a quarter tank, but the computer is reading 10km...any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try this to reset the display computer.

Press the display button, then turn you key to "acc" for 10 second, then the screen will tell you the instruction. I think after that you need to turn you key to "on" position. Then calibrate the compass.

Thanks, got it to work again.

Apparently, they recommend that you put in at least 25 litres of fuel - else, this might happen.....
