I am looking at buying a 91 Montero with a V6 (6G72) and a 5-speed manual (V5MT1?)

What I would like to know is what known issues are there with the 5-speed and what are the solutions to those issues. There doesn't seem to be much information about the manual with the 6G72, and there information that is out there seems to be very confusing or the people asking about them are looking to swap engine or transmission.

Even a google search for this transmission brings up very little, I would hate to buy a car then get stuck with a shot transmission and no solutions.
