2001 montero xls rotors
I just replaced the front rotors on my 2001 and I noticed that the factory ones had screws attaching them to the hub. The after markets I bought don't have the hole for the screws. Could anyone tell me what the purpose of those screws is? Should I drill the rotors to put the screws in?

The screws don't attach the rotor to the hub, they're there as a means to break the rotor loose from the hub in the event they are stuck to the hub by corrosion or if just difficult to remove by hand. You thread a bolt through each hole (not sure what # bolt at the moment) and tighten each until the rotor separates from the hub. I wouldn't be concerned if you don't have holes on the new ones, a basic hammer always did the trick for me anyway :D
