2002 limited rear disc pads
 

there seems to be 2 pins holding the pads into the caliper. how do I remove the pads? or does it need to go to the dealership?

Remove the clips that secure the pins in their position. Then slide the pins out from the caliper to free the pads.

I was able to get one of the pins out last night but they are really seized inside the caliper. problem is only one pin on each caliper goes through and can be tapped out. the other pin stops inside the other side of the caliper. I'll get it out somehow.

Yes i've seen that a few times before. Try a dab of pentrating oil where it contacts the caliper then giving the head of the pin a few taps with a hammer. Be sure to damage the pin where it slides through the caliper or you may not be able to use it again. Good luck!
