Exclamation 2002 Montero Sport

Hey everyone!
I drive a 2002 montero sport, and I do love this car, but he's been giving me a few problems. Right now I am fighting an overheating issue. I've tried putting coolant in the reservoir and right into the radiator through the cap in the middle. When I did it yesterday he really started to leak, it looked like it was leaking near the bigger fan at the front on the inside of the engine. Any ideas on what it could be? I also want to give his coolant system a good flush, I saw that you could do it by hooking a garden hose up to him, is this something you would recommend? I'm not very knowledgeable when it come to cars and engines, but I am trying to get it figured out. I'd appreciate any help or advice you guys could give me.

Sounds like you have a leak at the water pump or at the thermostat. You need to adess it or you might run into bigger issues with the engine down tbe road.
