2004 montero limited asc/atc issues
 

Hello all,
new to the forum. This is for a 04 mitsubishi montero limited. I have power issues with my asc/atc. There is no power to the off switch, when I turn the lights on the switch does not illuminate and the dash shows that the asc is off. I push the button and the "off" light stays on. I think I shorted out something. I was trying to do the horn fix and I tapped the wrong wire green black wire. I found the right wire but the asc/atc is off, i did also replace the battery at the same time. Is there a relay I can check? I replaced the abs relay and I checked all the fuses inside the rig and in engine bay, they were good. Thanks.

I have an 04 Mitsubishi Montero Limited. It has transmission issue. I have sourced for the gearbox locally and every one found doesn't work with the model. The last mechanic that diagnosed it discovered some connecting wires have been tampered with and damaged, hence he couldn't solve the problem. I really need help on how to finally resolve this as the truck has been down for almost a year now. Meanwhile, the gearbox currently installed could only take the vehicle a few miles and running only on a single selection.
Help will be highly appreciated, please.
