2006 Montero Recommendation

I am not (yet) a Montero owner
And I am not familiar with this vehicle
BUT have had several strong recommendations to buy a used 2006 Montero 105 ish miles
At the end of 2024, I am aware and nervous about parts availability as well as maintenance
At the same time, owners give it high praise
How should this newbie (me) proceed?
