98 Montero 3.5L Rear Door sags

I have the FSM for my Montero and it shows how to adjust the rear door but I am looking for some ideas about a more permanent fix. The door continuously sags and I have to adjust it quite frequently. I have removed the spare tire and mounting bracket to lighten it up but it hasn't helped much. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if I may be the only one with this issue?

Seems like the hinges are junk then as this is going to be the third set on the truck that I know of. I will try and look at some ways I can fabricate a better hinge and maybe a handle other than the plastic one above the license plate.

Had the problem with my first 98 Montero. Sag sag sag. Pulled so hard on the door it tore the handle off. Got another one and the hinges started to rust and the pins wore out. Got two good ones from a wreck and drilled grease ports in them and voila. Works good. I think the fix is ya gotta get grease into the hinges. Lightening the door is a good idea too.
