!995 monterey 3.0 4wd Running rough and auto transmission starts in high
 

It can run real well but then you restart it, it may then run real rough and won't accelerate and if you try to drive it the trany starts in high gear..it still can be shifted manually, The trany light comes on sometimes. We have thrown a lot of money into this with 3 coil packs and ,crank shaft censer and it ran but wouldn't start in low but then the Trany light came on and it wouldn't run well at all then.Just chugs along.
I have no idea how to tie this all together or if it is two problems.
Any thoughts would be welcome , sounds like something is tying these together but I don't know what.
