Can you disable the factory keyless entry in 2002 Montero LTD
 

I have installed an alarm/autostart system in my 2002 Montero LTD and would like to disable the built in alarm system. Is this possible?

Not sure about that.. but I am in desperate need of an answer for this one.

You have the same vehicle I do.... when you're driving down the road (after enough time for the initial startup and activation/deactivation of all your indicators).... and you take off your seatbelt.... does the warning indicator on the dash light up? If so, how long does this stay on... and

When you start up your truck if you do not belt your seatbelt.. how long does the seatbelt light stay on for?

Hi...I work for a Mitsu dealer here in Atlanta,Ga.The alarm/autostart system you have installed has been known to cause major computer problems.I have a '02 Montero Limited and was thinking of adding a remote start till they started coming into the dealership with problems with their electrical systems.And at $82.95 to diagnose to find the arch or burned computers is not cheap.

Only my suggestion to you due to 1st hand knowledge but its your call!
