Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

Thumbs up Croatia

Hello I am from Croatia, and I buy used Mitsubishi Pajero 2002 (Montero) 3.5 V6 GDI with 200000km. I have problem that the car is burning oil, about 1 liter on 1000 km. Can you help me to find what is it.I was looking on net to find the solution when I find this forum.

Best regards from Croatia

I'd suggest you run a compression test on the engine. First perform a "dry" compression test, then "wet" compression. When you do, post results here (make sure to include data for every cylinder). The results of this test will give you a good idea of what might be going on in the engine.

Hello again.
I went to mitsubishi service and I need to wait 15 days.
Then I went to one local service, and the mechanic just clean the PCV valve, and he said to drive 1000km and then we will see what happens.
I ordered a new PCV valve, because the old one nobody change 15 years.
