disable auto unlock when closing driver door Montero Sport
 

is there a way to change the programing of the Montero sport so that when you lock the door using the power door lock on the door (not the remote), then close the door, that you don't have to lift the door handle. if you don't lift the handle when closing, it unlocks all the doors. I've seen posts of other makes (like Honda or Toyota) where there's some odd pattern - turn key on, press the lock button for 5 seconds, horn chirps, release and press lock button three times, then turn car off - or some such thing.

I just want to lock the door (power door locks locks them all), let the driver door close when I get out of the car and not have to be holding up the door handle...

any ideas or suggestions?
