2WD/4WD Indicator - Only one rear wheel lit?
Hi-
I just noticed today that only one rear wheel is lit on the indicator, whether I am in 2WD or 4WD. Is there some sensor that is malfunctioning, or is just the little light burned out? Anyone else have this ever?
Jack

Jack,
Is your rig a Montero or Montero Sport? Which model and what year would be extremely helpful. I'm not 100% sure but it's probably just a burnt out bulb especially if it's a rear light. I know for sure Gen I & Gen II montero's don't have any rear wheel sensors for 4WD because it's a mechanically engaged coupling, and not an electronic one. The only time you won't have a rear wheel engage will be from a broken transfer case gear (BIG DAMAGE.... never, ever heard of this happening) or a broken rear axle (possible but you'd probably know you have problems).
