Emissions Test: Not Ready Issues
Hello all. I have a Montero Sport LS 1998 that I absolutely love but an electrical short after some bad wiring from an after-market stereo system made me lose any connection with the OBD completely and thus fail a smog check. I went to get the OBD re-wired to the computer but only 2 of all the necessary sensors report "READY." I have driven the car at least 300 miles since then in hopes of resetting the system but what exactly are the "drive cycles" I specifically need to do to get my sensors to get the I/M scan to set back to Ready.
