Decided to put her to the test! The trail was really rough goin up and the montero suprised me once again, my locker saved me many times if not for that I probably wouldnt have made it as far up but once I dropped down into this lil valley everythng smoothed out for the most part. She didnt miss a beat the whole trip and is now getting better gas mileage too! O ya and the smoke is gone haha. Decided to camp over night, relax and drink a few brews.

Congrats on a successful top end rebuild. It is good to hear those - it gives us all encouragement.

 

Ok it looks like I will be starting my top end rebuild. I think I have all the parts I need including the new spark plugs...lol. seeing as you can't change them without taking the top end apart....Wish me luck and will post with all the results too.
