Default Ignition Lock Cylinder 1989 Montero

I have a 1989 Montero Sport. I am trying to swap out the ignition lock cylinder with another one. I lost the key and had to purchase another ignition lock cylinder. I can not figure out how to pop it out. There seems to be 1 small metal finger that is holding it in, but I can't figure out how to lift it and slide the ignition lock cylinder out. Can anyone help me out?

Sorry. A novice here! Can you elaborate on Slide Hammer? I don't want to damage the one that I need to take out. I need to take out the good ignition lock cylinder and clean it real good and then insert it where the other one is without taking the harness and bracket apart.

if you have a dremel you can often cut slots in the bolts holding the ignition on to the steering column. Else youll be drilling them off.
Theres no way to remove them without 'damaging' something.

Update: thanks Akzle, I ended up replacing the ignition by drilling out the bolts. There was some damage to the threaded holes, but I was able to use a standard bolt and nut to put it back on with out it interfering with the covers or anything else. I finally have a key! Thank you!
