Interior Issues on '01 Montero Sport
 

Two issues I've discovered on my Montero Sport. I recently purchased this vehicle so I don't know how long this has been happening:

1. The door lock button on the driver's side ONLY will lock but will not unlock the doors. Is this something I can repair or do I need to replace something? If replace, do I have to replace the entire panel with all the switches or can I replace just the one? I've not taken the door panel off so I'm not sure how easy it is to take out the switches (it has been near zero here so I've not been very adventurous out in the garage!).

2. The dome lights come on when any door is open EXCEPT the driver door. Any ideas on where to look to remedy this?

i just bought a 99 sport and my light does the same thing, and also my door locks are hard as hell to open with the key since the key fob is junk i guess
