Engine idles very low and stalls when i come to a stop.
What should I be checking first? The SUV starts and runs fine initially, but after driving a few miles with modest RPMs, when I come to a stop and hold the brake pedal while it's still in gear, the RPMs dip very low and it usually stalls. When it does stall, I can start it right back up with no problems. The only way I can keep it running is by switching to N and revving the engine a little....which is a pain in the *** in stop and go traffic! 
I CHANGED THE THROTTLE BODY, FUEL FILTER AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTS.

No check engine light on? Try cleaning the throttle body and idle air control valve. Then the maf. Maybe that would bring your idle back to specs.
