mitsubishi starter cost

The starter on my 2003 Mitsubishi Montero with 3.0 engine has been failing.
I wonder if anyone has replaced the starter and how much trouble it is.
I also wonder if anyone has purchased a new mitsubishi starter and what that might cost.

I just replaced mine they wanted 900$ for Oem. So for that price I decided to keep the original myself and rebuild it. I'm glad I did much cheaper, and the original one I rebuilt still has the Mitsubishi ensigna on it. Orielys and auto zone wanted roughly 200$ for a re manufactured one. My vehicle is a 97 montero 3.5 so a little different, but I hope that helps alittle

Thank you for your input. Finally,I paid $53.00 and bought a mitsubishi starter on Hex auto, https://www.hexautoparts.com/new-sta...-5l-17775.html Super Satisfied! Arrived sooner than expected, and was exactly what I ordered. Great prices compared to places like Advanced or AutoZone. I will definitely order from here in the future if I need to purchase more parts!
