Default Montero build year
My montero decodes to a 1991. The door decal says build date 12/1990.
any ideas? I think this could make a difference for parts since 1991 was beginning of 2nd gen

Vehicles often are marketed as having a model one year "higher" than the actual build date. I bought mine in 2000, it was built in 2000, but it is a 2001 model year.
