Montero remote alarm
 

Please help my montero 2014 glx manual remote controL doesn’t sound when lock and unlock button is pressed , what will be the problem please help thanks

Not sure about your exact model, but the alarm horn is usually separate from the main horns and has it's own relay and fuse. Check the diagram in the lid of the main fuse panel and/or your owner's manual and try swapping out any fuse or relay marked with a horn icon. You can exchange a fuse with a spare, and swap a relay with another one that you know works. E.g. the Fog Lamp relay?

If the fuses and relays are all good, then it's possible? there is an ECU programming flag that can be set to silence the alarm horn, but I don't know this for sure. If there is, it would require a programming tool that dealers have.
