Default montero wearing tires

I have a 2002 montero limited that is wearing the inside of all four of the tires. Will a simple shock replacement fix this problem or will I need to do something else to correct the camber?

You said you replace the 4 shocks did you had a 4 Wheel alignment instead of 2 wheel alignment. You need to Align your car almost every year because of road bumps, snow, unpave roads etc etc.

try that it will only cost you $80.00 or less for a 4 wheel alignment at Mitsu dealer. it will save you on gas and tire wear.

its normal.

the cars run with negative camber. how many mile are on your tires, and have you rotated them every 7500 as you should?

Default Thanx

I probably have not been as diligent as i should about tire rotation, but the tires are wearing at a faster than normal rate, 10,000 - 15,000 miles. I have noticed the amount of negative camber in the vehicle and it seems to be a little to much is there anything i can do to help this?

its fairly normal. Monteros run with a lot of negative camber in the rear.

you could have an alignment done, but its doubtful youre gonna gain much.

That kind of tire wear is not normal. I have '01 Limited and the tires wore out very evenly and lasted for over 50k. Check your wheel alignment first. Sounds like something is not up to specs.
