Default What now

Put the new neutral safety switch on and it still won't change out of drive what else can make it do that
I guess it's on right it goes in park. neutral. Reverse and drive just won't change out of drive when driving it sounds like it's running wide open

Do the reverse lights work? If not it could be a blown fuse.

Is the new switch adjusted correctly?

When changing the Neutral Switch, its goes in one specific position, ifs not in the right position wont work well. If u have Engine light on, scan the vehicle

Are you sure its electrical and not something to do with the linkage? Do you have someone that can move the shift lever with the engine off and see if its physically bound somewhere, maybe rusted or something? Just throwing some ideas out there
