Pajero 2008 MMCS issue
 

I own a 2008 Pajero IV, and I recently had an issue with the MMCS system shutting off, which was repaired. However, the system is now displaying a message in Japanese that says, 'Please insert the program disk.' I can also hear a clicking sound from the hard disk. I need assistance from someone knowledgeable about this issue.

Old - but since there's no replies..

Either the full maps DVD is not in the dvd drive, or it's possibly damaged (disc or DVD drive itself)
Eject the map DVD and reinsert
Or find someone who has one to borrow (will only work until the next time the battery is disconnected)
