Anyone know what power steering fluid I can use other than the Mitsubishi fluid? It's just a pain and $$ to get it from the dealer. Can I use any synthetic kind? Any insight is appreciated!

Not sure but probably. Have you asked your local dealer service center? They should be able to tell you what the technical spec's are for the steering fluid. If they try to "coerce" you to buy only mitsu fluid, check with mitsu corporate. If they lie to you about what fluid works and what doesn't, report them to your local BBB and also to mitsu corporate.

Note... one fluid you want to use 150% Mitsu compatible fluid or actual mitsu fluid is your AT transmission fluid. Use the wrong stuff & you will be rebuilding your tranny.
