Hi guys my montero has developed a slow engine response (pedal lag).
No no check engine light!!!
MPG has declined...

Any ideas?

 

Blocked catalytic converters? What mileage and year?

 

2006 montero full size 67k miles.
only getting about 12 mpg!!!

 

Really low mileage on your montero.....did the high fuel consumption happen suddenly? It could really be a lot of things contributing to these symptoms. It could be engine related or transmission related. Having no check engine light makes it more difficult to diagnose.
