Timing Belt Snafu

Hey I had a question about my timing belt.

I redid the whole belt and kit because of slipping tensioner noise.

I put everything back together and it sort of made a fan noise like something was hitting a fan but nothing was obstructing anything.

the noise went away after 3 minutes of it running but it idled really high like at 2k.
So i shut it off and now it trys to turn over but it doesn't catch.

I was very careful to mark the timing and put it back into time when putting the new belt on. Even made sure it was TDC by cranking it by hand over until it was at TDC.

Now nothing happens. I am getting so pissed. Do you have any ideas or suggestions of what it could be or what i could do?

Another thing i noticed is There is a very odd wire coming out of the wiring harness on top and hooking into what looks like a connector. This is definalty not a stock item. The electrical tape was peeling off it so i peeled it back and re taped it but i am wondering if the connection fell apart it was sadured but barley.
Is there any type of wire on top that could cause this?
I will try and snap a few pics of it tomorrow its very odd.

Does this sounds like it skipped timing and something bad happened or do you think this wire could be a cause?

I might have to break it all down tomorrow and try putting it back together or see what the cause could be. Sigh

Thanks

JP
