Transfer box & Front Differential oil levels location?
Where can I find these two so I can check the oil levels?

Update: I found them!

Where did you find them? In a user manual?
I need them in fact, what I need is the oil max amount should be refilled in the transfer and diferentials |
The transfer case and front diff have both a "Drain Plug" and a "Fill Plug". Of course, the "Fill Plug" is the one higher up, and the Drain Plug is on the bottom. Before draining these fluids, be sure to try to loosen the top Fill Plug first. Sometimes these Fill Plugs get overtightened by a prior owner, and are impossible to remove without serious work. Also, the Fill Plugs tend to have very thin edges and can strip-out easy, so you must use a 6-Point socket and various extensions and never an adjustable or cresent wrench.
The Fill Plug (top one) is also the level check......you fill until the fluid starts coming out. The Transfer Case upper Fill Plug is pretty hard to get to. You must remove the rock guard first in order to reach up to the top of the Transfer Case. Someone used the wrong type of wrench on this fill plug, and its now all mangled: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/mitsubi...f4bc8567ad.jpg Here is how I add fluid, and it works so good I do not spill a single drop: Just a medical syringe and a tube attached: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/mitsubi...2a30b83a1f.jpg You can see the hole with threads where the Transfer case Fill Plug goes......above the freshly greased torsion bar. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/mitsubi...5818f72acc.jpg |
