Hello,

I've noticed a weird clicking relay noise inside my Montero 2002 Limited cabin, to be specific, the sound source seems to be behind the glove box. Each clicking noise comes accompained with a radio reset (on and off) and every time this happens the air conditioning is on. Does anyone knows what is the root cause of this issue?

Maybe the power antenna? I know my motor is toast and makes a racket when the radio is turned on or off, doesn't effect my AC though...

 

This weekend I swapped the original car stereo (single DIN) to a new Boss Double DIN and the problem dissappeared.
