Default window

Hello all my front drivers side window will not roll up.

I took door apart and tried jumping the connectors to see if it was the motor or the switch but to no aval. If i leave the original switch on the door i can roll up and down all of the windows and lock all the doors just fine except the drivers side.
It was acting sluggish before but now it just wont go up at all.

i am thinking motor but don't want to waste the money if i'm wrong and its just the switch.

I was thinking motor, switch, fuse could be the most common causes.

any thoughts?

thanks all.

If it started to get sluggish, then that's the motor. If it was the switch, it would just stop working one day, without becoming sluggish before. That's my guess.

Test the switch with an Ohmmeter. If switch is OK, test harness at the motor to see if you are getting voltage there. Last but not least, put 12v on the motor contacts and see if it responds. This way you should be able to tell which of the components had failed.
