worth the trouble to part out my 2001 montero sport?

Hey all,

I have 2001 Montero Sport (6.0L) with 230k miles in fair condition (the trans is newer, one of those 50k mile Japanese replacements). I haven't really driven it in 4 years but it still runs great - just can't quite meet the smog specs here in California. Is there a decent market for the parts or should I just scrap it?

I think it might be easier to try to sell it to an out of state buyer. If you part it out, you need to make sure you have a place to keep the carcass while the process is going on. Then, in the end you'll have to pay someone to haul away whatever remains for final scrapping.

If you do decide to part out I'm looking for wheel hub assembly for a 2wd Montero sport
