Default 07 outlander needs new tires??

my wife's 2007 mitsubishi outlander is in need of some new tires soon. Stock goodyear's wore out pretty quickly after about 30k miles. What is a good replacement tire? Generally get a decent amount of snow in the winter, so lookin for a good all terrain tire.

I've had the Yokohama Geolanders as OEM and they lasted till 41k miles. We put on Firestone Destination LE tires that are Light Truck (LT)...they are a bit noisy and dropped our highway gas mileage by 3mpg. I've heard that BF LongTrail T/A tires were good...but never ran them. I suggest getting a Passenger (P) tire; from what I read, they are quieter and lighter.

on my wife's XLS the OEM tires lasted about 32K.... replaced it with Yokohama Avid V4S and went with 235/55/18 instead of the stock size 225/55/18.....
