RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
I shall be swapping out mirrors now.

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
The heated mirros would be nice on the recent fall mornings that I was not able to park in the garage and had frost. I have them on my GTI. That is an option that you do not appreciate until you have had it. Too bad for us 07 owners though. Maybe it will be an easy retrofit. I am sure Rdenis will figure it out for us!

wow, no real updates for XLS and price is higher

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
As I look back, the salesperson actually told me that my '07 outtie came WITH heated mirrors. He told me that when the rear defroster is on, that turns on the side-mirror defroster. And since I havent had to use it yet because I havent had any frost on the car yet, I havent found out that it doesnt.
I just went on mitsu's site and yep, there is no listing for heated side-mirrors for the '07. Well sweet, I was looking forward to having them because I was use to it with my last car. If there was a way to get them I would be interested in doing the swap. And deffinetly would be down for swapping the door panels. |

The Canadian 07s have heated mirrors even though it's not a listed feature. Start the car, push the rear defog button, wait few minutes and touch the side mirrors - they should be warm.

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
From what I can see from the specs, the Canadian 08 XLS has new door panels, chrome door handles and standard AUX input. It has lost the cargo cover and the utility bars.
No pricing and full specs for the 2008 US models yet. |
RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
Well maybe the '07 US models do have heated mirrors, I guess I'll try later today. My dealer is pretty good so I dont thinkthey would of told me that unless they knew.
The chrome interrior door handles would be nice too... |
RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
Glad to hear they offer a new engine, for someone who cares about mpg.I am happy with V6,no doubt!Maybe new colors will be offered too?!
|
RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
The color range we have is is the full range for the current Mitsubishi offering from Japan, which is about the same as the 08 Lancers, so I don't think there'd be new colors for 08

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
What I'm intrested though is the HOV map lanes for the MMCS, although I don't really have an idea how that will work where I live. I dunno if that be a DVD upgrade for 07 owners.

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
Oh OK, that must be the new colors for the 08 Outlander 30G in Japan then. I saw "New" over the color red and what i thought was aqua, which I thought were old colors. Green is a little classy though, I think that's the color of the 30G Outlander in the banner for the JP website.

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
Just go to mitsubishimotors.com they updated the US website. The 08 outlander isnt offered with a 4 cyl. just the v6. They only have two models. The only change I seen was the door panels. They do offer a green but its ugly online. In the photos They have a rubber mat that says outlander on it that I cant find on the accessories page.

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
antlip, if your talking about that rubber mat on the phot page of mitsu's site, that is for the last generation outtie. There is no release for the tailgate...

RE: 08 Outlander details [US]
Thats what I figured but why would they show that on a 08 model?
