Cant, I dont have an Outlander. I have an 06 Eclipse, which brings up the question.

Ive researched online and found out that the 03 Outlander 2.4 (non-Mivec) has a 60mm throttle body. Im wondering if this is true and if it will bolt on the 06 Eclipse 2.4 Mivec which has a smaller TB size. I need to verify the size first before I goo deeper on it. Tnx

RE: 2.4 Mivec Throttle body bore

i have a 2006 outlander and asked road race motor sports if their larger throttle body would fit....the answer was no, because of that bloody electric throttle which stays open when you're shifting gears. so, if you've got a 4g69 mivec, you have that electronic throttle which, for our
year at least, doesn't allow a throttle body change. i am disappointed as well since the 4g69 doesn't seem to have the low-end grunt the old 2.4, 4g64 seemd to have....

Thanks for the info. Eventhough Im disappointed, Im also glad that this has been cleared and I can move on without thinking about this possibility every night. I can rest in peace and worry about my next move.:)....which will be to possibly get the oem TB bored out. Proflow does it for $175. I know, I know. Thats alot of money for a 2mm overbore and, as Proflow says, 13% increase in TB flow.

BTW, expositor, I have some good news for you guys with the 4g69. Outlaw Engineering is currently doing R&D on phenolic manifold and TB spacers. I will keep you guys updated.
