2004 outlander cruise control not working
 

Hi guys!

I am having problems with my cruise control, in the cluster the "Cruise" goes on and off random and sometimes cruise works and stops when it wants to. Is there any advice of what to check before buying a new cruise switch? The brake switch is working and light do come on when pressed/released. I am having a long trip on September and would be nice to have this issue solved to avoid having the foot stuck to the pedal for 6hrs straight!

Do you have steering wheel audio controls? And if so do they work properly? It's possible you are having issues with your clock spring that connects the controls on the wheel to the ECU...

Again, having problems with the cruise control but now the "Cruise" does not turns on the dash. I have no audio controls in the steering wheel, it is a 2WD btw.
