2007 outlander rear boot power socket
 
hi guys, need help regard 07 outlander rear boot power socket.
that cig power socket got no power at all, try to check the fuse box, but no idea which one control the boot socket.
there are 3 cig socket in this car, one down the mmc, one inside the glove box and last one is in the boot.

confirm other 2 are working, just don't know whatz wrong with the boot one

you've tried it with the ignition on (car running)? I think the rear one is switched with the ignition. Sorry, but have to start with the basic ideas.

In the inside fuse box by the drivers knee

Fuse 13 is for the 2 front ones.
Fuse 19 is for the rear one.

Have you checked both ?

i was just going to post the same thing but mine all 3 don't work, front one the one inside the center console. i checked the fuse # 13 and its fine. any ideas ? i have an apt with dealer but if i can take care of it i will

The power come from a fusible link (a melting wire) so you most likely need the dealer if you exceeded the rating.

hi, thanks for that, my one is jap imported, so that fuse box is on passenger's knee side.
anyway, was able to open it and check both 13 and 19, they both fine....
so the wire problem?
