2008 Outlander 2.0 Diesel - chip tuning

I find my 2008 Outlander to be very weak on low RPMs in first gear. I am considering chip tuning it to get a greater torque and a few extra BHP. Has anyone done this in the past? What type of tuning have you tried? How well did it work out?
