Default 2008 OUTLANDER BLUETOOTH ECHO SOUND

I have a new Outlander with bluetooth and have it paired to a Motorola krazer phone. I can hear the conversation clear and loud however on the other end apparently it sounds echoy and hard to hear me clearly. I asked the dealership and they said thats just how it sounds. is this true? and does anyone have any idea why it sounds like this or what i can do to improve the quality. Thanks in advance

Did you try lowering the volume down on your end? That helps sometimes.

For me its pretty random. Though I think it does matter what carrier and phone you have. I have Verizon with a LG phone and for the most part I have good connections. Though occasionally the other person says they cant hear me very well or there is an echo.

I think the phones bluetooth software is what is responsible for the quality of the connection...

I've had the same problem as well. I have Verizon and use the LG EnV. I've tried adjusting the volume up and down on the receiver to no avail. After playing with it a little (with mommy on the phone to help), it seems to me that it may be the microphone picking up on the road noise around me. When at a stop, it does not seem to be a problem but as soon as I start moving it seems to get progressively worse. The faster I go, the louder the "static type noise" becomes.

I believe that's the way it is. I works quite well while stationary, but as soon as I begin to drive over 50 km/hr (~ 30mph), then people complain that I'm not loud enough. Road noise issue.

SO IS ANYONE HAPPY WITH THIER BLUETOOTH AND ABLE TO USE IT WHILE DRIVING OVER 50KM. BECAUSE IF THAT IS THE CASE THAT THE MITSU BLUETOOTH IS ONLY GOOD WHILE STATIONARY THAN WHY DID I PAY $400+ FOR HANDSFREE IF I STILL HAVE TO PULL OVER TO USE IT EFFECTIVELY.

I've heard that the problem is that the mic is facing the passenger side or down the middle. If you get your dealer to face it towards the driver it eliminates or at least minimizes the echoing, especially those who have problems when the vehicle is moving but is fine stationary.

Default Bluetooth in 2009 Outlander

I have Verizon and an LG env 9100 and have had no problems with the bluetooth, and it even pairs along with my Plantronics on in my ear.

I do not understand how to enter names and numbers in the nav system...any ideas???
