Default 2009 Outlander XLS Video Review

Just spent a week driving the doors off and shooting a graphite gray/black '09 Outlander. Had a great time with it but missed having the chance to take it out to play in the snow by a couple of days ... we got hit with a storm right after I had to turn it in. Drat!

I was able to get decent gas mileage out of it by driving with a light foot and using the usual techniques. Had no problem beating the official estimates. But I gotta admit ... the iPod input jack puzzled the heck out of me.

Still need to post the cargo area video, but most everything else is up. Take a look at our 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander review and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Great video. BTW. When you were taking the outlander through the gears with the paddle shifters it looked like you came awful close to redlining it in 1st gear.

Thanks, AZJake! Looks like we did get a shade close to redline. d'oh!

The Outlander's column-mounted magnesium paddle shifters are worlds above the flappy plastic bits provided by some manufacturers (who shall remain nameless) ...
