2010 Outlander GT backup camera comes up while driving
 

It happened at least 3 times already. I backup the car and see the backup camera on. And when I switch to drive, it remains on and throughout entire ride until I turn off the car. So while driving, I can see video of cars behind me. Distracting. Happened at least 3 times.

Anyone else encountered this?

First of all, sweet. lol

Must be a short in the switch that activates when you put into reverse. The switch isn't getting turned off when you put it back in Drive.

Defenitely, a dealer issue to handle. Only 2 yrs old, they should fix it.

Okay, luckily I recorded it on my phone. Otherwise nobody would believe me.
