2010 Outlander GT rear tow hook location?

I'm confused as to where I would hook a tow rope if I were pulling someone of of a snow bank or something of the sort. The user manual shows popping off a cover on the plastic part of the bumper to reveal a threaded hole which you screw in a bolt with an eye on the end to act as the hook location. When I remove the plastic cover all I see is an aluminum part of the body, nowhere to screw anything in. I also do not have the tow bolt with an eye on it in my tool bag where it says it should be found.
I do however see a loop welded on directly beyond the plastic cover that is removed. It certainly doesn't look as beefy as the front tow loop. Can anyone give any insight as to the 2010 GT's rear tow set up?
