2010 Outlander a way to have more HP ?
I wonder is there a way to prime the engine to have 20 more HP ?
from 230 to 250 will be a nice little upgrade to do :) without canceling warranty will be great too lol. |
Not easily. The new motors have different cams and different piston geometry. Sorry, man.
|
That would be nice to go above 250, but most likely will have to get another ride like a turbo charged sportage.

I'm going to start with basic intake and exhaust on mine and see where that gets me.

Nice let us know ;)
so far the only thing i do to mine, is put K&N air filter, i might have a extra 2-3 HP haha :P |

You won't be able to make significant gains without affecting warranty - Mitsu would have done that already if it was that easy. The OEM +10hp for the 2010 models sounds like it comes from the increased timing for higher octane, thus the recommendation for premium. The 3.0L displacement is also a limiting factor for the gains you are looking for. Best bang for the buck is forced induction. You'll lose the mitsu warranty but gain a warranty for the charger system. |
If only there WAS a supercharger or turbo setup for Outlanders.

well the did a oulander with a turbo that was going up to 300 HP, so its possible with that engine i guess

I would be the first on the list if they did come up with a turbo set-up for this engine.

just think of that 220 HP now, but with a turbo 300 HP :D
that will be CRAAAAAZZZZYYYYY |
