2011 Outlander Bluetooth Phone Speaker question

Just got a 2011 Outlander. Speakers all work fine with radio/MP3/etc. Just wondering if anyone knows, however, if ONLY the right (passenger) side speaker is supposed to be the only one that works when in a Phone Call via Bluetooth. When I am in a Bluetooth/Hands free call the voice of the call ONLY comes through on the right hand side speaker. Makes me want to lean to that side to talk back!! Obviously I'll ask the Dealer about this, but wanted to see if anyone knew for sure if both sides should be working during a Hands Free call.

My 2008 Outlander only uses the passenger speaker for the Bluetooth phone connection.

@Nealla30... Just like lozcart, my 08 Outlander based on the US only uses the right front speaker. What I find more interesting is that the head units volume is the same for the bluetooth as it is for any input and have to remember to lower the volume before taking or making a call or else it's quite loud.

obviously designed for the right hand drive market. (as it should be ::))

Thank you everyone! I will in fact clarify with the dealer, but sounds like it actually is supposed to be like that. Bummer! Thanks again!

My 09 Outlander also has it on the passenger (right) side.

I've never had a problem with that. I am glad it doesn't come out of multiple speakers. I don't want to feel surrounded!!! ;)

Also have a 2011 Outlander. Phone comes from the right front speaker.

Passenger side (left) for my UK spec Elegance too. Seems like it's always the passenger side speaker, dispite which side the steering wheel is on

its on the passenger side because the mic is closer to the driver. The further away the speaker the less chance for feedback and the less chance the person on the other end can hear themselves. Pretty obvious if you ask me...

Funny, why it is different on Lexuses - at least on GX and LS?
