Default 2012 RVR DRL issue

I recently bought a new 2012 RVR (Outlander Sport). Chose the SE AWC model. My dealer installed HID's for me. The issue is that my headlights are always on. I asked if they could switch the DRL's to the front fignal markers after reading the owners manual.
They told me that the wiring harness denotes the DRL location. I've read that the MUT III can change the DRL location for me. Is this possible?
PS. I'm in Canada & hate DRL's, I'd rather disable them alltogether.

Thanks

That doesn't sound like the OEM HIDs. Did they just put HID bulbs in a reflector housing? Yes they can be disabled with the Lexia tool easily.

They are aftermarket. It's a Lumens 6000k HID kit. I've heard of the Lexia throwing off codes. Is this possible. It's still under warranty
