Default 2014 mitsubishi outlander se 2.4L fitment

I am looking for a 2014 outlander se engine but having difficulty finding the motor with the spec below. I have found them in the 2010-2013 range and 2015+. Would any of these fit the 2014?

The 4B12 engine was and is currently being used in a lot of Mitsubishis. Not sure if emissions are in issue where you are, but you should be able to use any 2008+ that had the 2.4L. I would probably stick to an engine from an Outlander just to be safe as there may be some minor differences if from another car like the Lancer. Maybe someone can confirm.

Not sure about all markets but here in Australia the 2014 Outlander would have a 4J12 engine which is of similar design to 4B12, but with a Different MIVEC (valve timing) setup and cylinder head/
The ECU and engine electroncs are very different though, so no interchangability there.

Yes, the same is true in US and Canada. With the introduction of the third generation of Outlander the 2.4 L engines went from DOHC (4B12 in the generation 2 Outlanders) to SOHC (4J12).

Would it be possible for the 4J11 with the 2.0L to work with it? Wikipedia doesn't even list my year as in the range that has the 4J12 but my VIN shows that it is a 2.4L.
