Default 2014 Outland loud road noise need advise

2014 Outland loud road noise need advise ! One of the major complaint's I have learned . I just installed BQuiet ultimate noise damper from the back of my rear door to the very back. Including floor and both sides as far as I could reach up.
Road noise is still loud. Looking for any advise how to quell the road noise in the cab ?
Thanks for any advise

The 2014 model is known for this. there could be dozens of factors causing it. Mitsubishi has acknowledged this and accredited it to poor isolation from the elements outside the passenger cabinet.

The pulleys, belts, exhaust and motor features all have some serious noise problems.

have you gotten it checked out at a non mitsubishi dealer?

I'm dealing with this too, and one thing you can do is lower the noise source, as in pick the quietest tires available.

Thanks for replying Luar,
Car only has 23,000 miles on it. It is all road noise, no mechanical issues

Storimer,
Thanks for responding to my post. Car only has 23,000 miles on it. Hate to change out the tires. Have you done anything other than the tires ? What year is yours ?

I have the 2013 model which really is still part of the old generation models. After 2014 they brought in a new model configurations and body arrangements, I don't think they worked out the noise reduction correctly but if it still runs fine and you have done all the necessary work its really hard to change something that Mitsubishi recognizes as a model range problem. Although I have driven the 2014 newer models for test runs on city roads, I have noticed when turning on side roads the noise is felt stronger. most noise comes from vibrations and car mechanics in general that noise reduction methods will do very little to no effect.

now it also depends on what type of noise, if its a tapping noise or a engine noise then its a more serious issue, if there is just noise from the under body then besides tires and making sure all parts are lubricated, there is not much you can do.

Attached photo of Bquiet in rear of car.
1. Added Bquiet to heat shield above exhaust at firewall
2. found a rattle by tapping on hood. Had to remove the fiber heat shield and found windshield wiper hose clip the cause of rattle. Loc tighed these tow clips and all under hood seams that are white
