2020 Outlander ES - automatic light
 

Hope everyone is doing well. I am in Ontario/Canada and I bought a used 2020 Outlander ES last month.
After buying the vehicle, I realized that this model does not have automatic head lights and remote start (I was wrong in assuming that these basic things will be there in every vehicle these days as my 2012 Chevi Cruze base model has both of these features).

In this thread I want to discuss only about the automatic head lights.

# Is it possible to reconfigure ETACs and plug is OEM rain and light sensor [1] ? Though I am interested only on light sensor.
# My light switch also does not have option of auto, but I was thinking of adding an additional switch in one of the spare push button slots and do some wirings to server the purpose of auto light option.
# The OEM rain and light sensor looks to have only 3 wires.
# Does overhead console harness have wires to accommodate sensor wires ? There are quite a few unused wires in the harness of overhead console, and I was hoping that some of them are meant for rain and light sensor. Can anyone please share connection diagram of rain and light sensor from an outlander ?
