5W20 oil for 2011 xls insted of 0W20 ?

If I did put synthetic the recomand is 5W20 so I don't thing the 5W20 synthetic is a issue.

Either oil will be fine. 0W20 marginally better in cold weather on startup only (once warm, both are same viscosity), but doubt you will notice the difference. You won't harm the engine with 5w20 synthetic.
Personally, I think every 5000miles is excessive changes with a modern fully synthetic oil, but best stick to that while under warranty if that is what recommended.
